[Alice]

-A handsome Caucasian man and a stunning African-American women set around a stationery news desk. A mass of people running around, from makeup crew, directors, and everyone in between. -

"Jeffery! Jeff -- ery! Where is my goddamn coffee!?

"Ah... Right here, Mr. Parker."

-The overweight Mr. Parker takes the offered coffee from Jeffery.-

"When I say jump you jump. I'm the director and when I direct you to get me my fucking coffee, you go and get my fucking coffee. Is that understood?"

"Yes, sir." *Ugly fat basterd*

"Now get off my damn set."

-As the crew overheard Parker's temper tantrum. They whispered their usually insults about him. -

-Parker chummily set by the teleprompter with a warming cup of coffee. -

"Alright, get ready Brain and Judy, where starting off with the breaking news about the two recent incidents. ---And then where going to break off into... "
-Parker fumbled through his notes as he looked for the next report. -

"--- the whether report with Bill."

"Got it"

-Both Judy and Brian agreed as they took quick glances at their own papers.-

“What a car crash, Judy. Then, some nut goes and still the bodies.“

“I know it is terrible.”

“Okay! Were on in 5.. 4 .. 3 .. 2 .. “

-And a finger goes up for one and Brian begins.-

“Were sorry to interrupt the show, but we've got some details reaching us here at R.C.N. We received a report from an eyewitness that a man crashed into a parked car near Jack's Bar, a local bar on Jack Street, here in Raccoon City.”

“It was last reported from the local authorities, who arrived on seen that the man was closely being monitored and under constant medical care because of his severe injuries before the ambulance took him away. “

“A near by Emergency medical technicians tried to transport the man to the nearest trauma hospital... one the way, the ambulance sped off the street and collide into a train. The conductor on the train described the EMT driving, saying the EMT completely lost control of the ambulance.”

“Wow, unbelievable Brain. What a horrific scene.“

“Brain looked away from the camera and towards Judy.”

“ I know. But, here is the bizarre thing, the bodies disappeared -- vanished.”

“So shocking. Hold on.”

-Judy said, as she pressed her finger towards her ear and bent her head towards the side as she received a message about another report.-

“Were getting a report from our sister's station in Elizabeth Town. Right now were going to be listening to Brendon Fisher in Elizabeth Town, NJ. Brendon.”

“Hey, Judy and Brian. I'm reporting live.. here in Elizabeth Town, NJ.. I'm standing right at the exact location of a murder scene. As you can see behind me -- “

-Brendon moved towards his left, so that he wouldn't be in the view of the shot.-

“ --- the police are still here trying to restrain the killer. A woman has killed a man to death. Her only weapon being her teeth! Neighbors reported that the police weren't a stranger to Jack Born and Felicia Born household. Neighbors repeatedly stated that the abuse towards Felicia was evident. It's has also been reported that close friends said that she loved him more, then she loved herself. This time it seems like this dispute erupted and turned deadly.”

-Brendon turned from the camera and began to report what he was seeing and tired to reenact what happened off camera.-

“Where now looking at two female police officers struggle to place the now handcuffed Felicia into the back of seat of a police vehicle.”

An overweight police officer could be seen gripping the palm of his hand as he walked closer towards Brendon and the camera. Brendon turned back towards the camera as he began to talk.-

“This is Captain Jackson he has been giving us the background on the story.”

“You are going to have to leave now.“

“Can you tell us why?”

“No, leave now, please.”

“Anything at all Captain.”

“Leave now. ”

"This Brendon Fisher reporting live.. In Elizabeth Town, NJ."

-A female voice was heard and coming into view on the television sets.-

"This is Judy and Brian coming live from Raccoon City.“

“Now were going to see how's Bill the Weather man is doing and what's going to be the forecast for this week.”

Mr. Parker was setting at his usually place, by the teleprompter. This was situated a few feet away from the set of Judy's broadcasting desk. He was sipping on a mixture of cold coffee and vodka. He could not distinguish the exact time when he started mixing the two together, but he implied around the time his son went missing...

A numerous amount of alerts were being broadcasting on RCN's missing person listings. Their names with their address were rolling on RCN monitor with the recording of a man's voice delivering the General's warning. Brains name as well as a list of other Raccoon City resident's names kept pouring in... from police officers, to shop clerks, politicians and even children, all being screened on television.

Taking another gulp from his special brew he gazed through his notes. There is a mixture of newsroom sounds, low voices talking in the background, people bustling around trying to operate in the recent pandemonium, searching for formality while trying to do their jobs along with worrying about their families... themselves. They did it because they knew that people would tune in to see the latest development.

RCN was broadcasting a recording of a man's voice delivering the General's warning, twenty-four hours a day seven days week, only with the exception of updates and breaking news did it discontinue.

[glow=red,2,300] "Normal broadcasting facilities have been temporarily discontinued. Please stay tuned to RCN's channel 5 for emergency information". --- [/glow]

Mr. Parker looked up at Judy who was also running through her notes. She had been significantly busy for the past few days. Up for hours trying to help locate her news partner Brian. It had been three to four weeks since the alert for Brain's whereabouts were broadcast on RCN.

"Alright, let's get ready, Judy in about a five where gonna cut the recordings and listings. You're gonna report on the development in our City. Then onto— the--- the..." Mr. Parker interrupted the general's warning.

He gazed though his notes again forgetting what was supposed to come after that breaking news.

[glow=red,2,300] "---- Raccoon City law enforcement, S.T.A.R.S, urges you to remain calm, and due to an immediate response we urged you to head to the Raccoon City High school between Fox St and Davles St." [/glow]

"... White House." He said with definition. He looked up from his paper. Mr. Parker explains as the dwindling warning plays in the background.

[glow=red,2,300] "---Or head over to Chumleigh Dr. where the United States Army has conducted a shelter for refugees within the state. If none of these locations are available to you we advise you to keep all doors and windows locked or boarded shut. " [/glow]

"...Then to the other reports of incidents that may be connected to infection." Parker let his voice rung above the warning and noises of clatter of people doing their jobs by trying to finish preparations before the five minute mark.

[glow=red,2,300] "---Use all food, water, and medical supplies sparingly. Raccoon City defense forces are attempting to gain control of the situation. Stay close to televisions and radios. A voluntary evacuation is in place." [/glow]

"In Five, four, three, two—"

And a finger went up for one.

With a nod Judy spoke and looked into the camera.

"Good afternoon, it's October 26, 2010 and RCN is airing live with new updates on the infection."

Her voice sounded tired, but she still spoke with an announcer's professionalism as they dealt with the unvarying monotonous updates.

"We have been receiving reports that the police department is unable to dispatch any services to any local 911 calls at this moment. The police Chief Captain Jack Mosley of Raccoon City Police Department have this to say on the matter---"

Judy is replaced with a previously air clip of the Captain and a news reporter interview. The Captain was stepping out of his automobile. Like a true guerrilla warfare tactic a reporter and camera man waylaid the Captain.

"Captain! Captain Mosley, with the recent unfortunate turn of events citizens have been very outspoken about the police reaction towards the emergency calls. None of them, whatsoever had received police assistance. What--- what do you have to say about this?" The reported rushed to finish his question before Captain Mosley made it to his destination or before the reporter was shoved away by annoyance.

"Now that is in fact incorrect we are on the scene. " Mosley started to get flushed because of the reporter's contradictions.

"We can't be everywhere at once. We are outnumber and are dealing with desertion. We are trying our best to maintain stability in these harsh times considering that one third of our police force quit."

Mosley became even more flustered. "What will happen to those police officers that abandon their jobs and Raccoon citizens? What actions and repercussion do those police officers face?"

"Those police officers have families as well as you and me. They felt they need to do what was best for them." The reporter felt as though that wasn't a good enough answer and voiced his concerns.

"And what of the people of Raccoon City what is best of them?"

"Look--- I don't see you trying to help your fellow neighbor, the people. I don't see you armed and ready. "

Ignoring the statement the reporter went on unfazed.

"Is there any advice that you can give to the people out there that has to deal with this plagued? "

<p> "My advice is to the follow the General's warning. And if you do happen to get into contact with the walking dead you go for the head. They are no longer your loved ones anymore... the police force are no longer using blunt bullets." </p>

They started to near the end of Captain Mosley journey, Raccoon City police station that mirrored a siege from the infected. Cars blocked the entrance of the station, officers on foot, and on the roof played as guards.

"Captain do you think we can defeat these things?" <

With a minute paused he answered.

"Yes, we can defeat them all you have to do is deliver a blunt trauma towards the head --- fire too. Blunt trauma to the head is the best way, a gun, a bat, decapitation of the head. If not hold tight until a rescue unit comes. Because if you're outnumber you don't have a prayer."

They reach the barricade and the Captain continues beyond the barricade the reporter and the cameraman were halted in their steps.

"Captain! Captain Mosley!"

Realizing that was the end of the interview the reporter looked at the camera for the first time since the interview.

"You heard it here from Raccoon City News channel 5."
